    Oct. 7, 2024, noon

If you love being creative, putting your ideas into illustrations or simply want to learn more about the graphics world, Daily Bruin Graphics is for you. You do not have to be an expert in order to join. If you are devoted to learning what it takes to create a graphic, you are more than welcome to be part of the team! There will be Adobe training lessons for those who are not familiar with the application.

As an intern, you will create and design infographics on a variety of different topics. Graphics visually convey information in ways that other forms of journalistic content cannot, and can help readers process or digest information in a way that's more visually engaging and interactive! You can either work on a request placed by a different section or even create your own standalone and publish it online. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Graphics editor, Ashley Choi, at [email protected].

Please note that the tentative weekends of student media training are Oct. 19 & 20, Oct. 26 & 27, and Nov. 2 & 3. This is mandatory and you must complete these in order to become an intern.

Being an intern includes attending weekly meetings. There are opportunities to be promoted to contributor and staffer if requirements are met.
