About the position

As a UI/UX Intern with UCLA Student Media, you will play a vital role in shaping the digital and visual experience of platforms that connect the UCLA community. You will collaborate with developers and other team members to create user-friendly designs for publications, websites, and tools such as Bruinwalk.com, BruinLife, and more.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on improving the design and usability of internal and external websites.
• Contribute to the redesign and enhancement of key features and functionalities on Bruinwalk.com.
• Ensure all designs are responsive, accessible, and align with Student Media’s brand.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to refine designs based on feedback.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and design assets to communicate ideas effectively to the development team.
