Monday - Friday 6AM - 7PM (standard seasonal schedule)

Saturday - Sunday 6AM - 7 PM (Select weekends only)

This is a seasonal job and staff must reapply each school year.The average number of hours is 5-10 hours per week.

Photographer: As a photographer, you will be doing outdoor graduation photos for graduating UCLA and UCLA Extension students. Being a photographer requires being creative and having good communications skills in order to give clients posing directions.

Marketing/Sales: Being part of staff requires that you get the word out that our studio exists. This entails tabling, flyering, posting in social media groups, etc. Effective marketing must be done to better boost awareness of our studio and products. You are responsible for the sales, marketing and promotion of the photo studio and yearbook.

Requirements:

• Must have intermediate to advance skills in photography.
• Must have proficient skills using a DSLR camera (Nikon preferred) and have a basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or photo editing skills.
• A photo portfolio is required for this position.
• Applicant must have good communication skills, be detail-oriented, phone skills, organized, punctual and have a friendly demeanor.
• Applicant must work well with others as this position requires being a team player.
• Applicant must be able to work well under pressure since it can become hectic during the high of the graduation season.
• Applicant must be able to follow directions. Customer service experience is desired but not required.
• Must be a full time UCLA Student. Needs to work during midterm/finals week. Ability to work during Summer Session is preferred but not a requirement.
