As a social media intern for Pacific Ties, you are responsible for facilitating the overall visual aesthetic of the newsmagazine on our social platforms and encouraging readership on our website. This position will give you the flexibility to create multimedia content that is timely, engaging, and informative. You will plan, create, and implement campaigns that reflect Pacific Ties’ core values of inclusivity, advocacy, and integrity. You will also have opportunities to collaborate with the photographers, artists, and graphic designers to ensure consistent weekly content on all social media platforms.
Through training, interns will understand the mechanics behind journalistic writing style and gain valuable multimedia production skills.
What You Will Do: -> Be responsible for your assignments and meet deadlines. -> Engage in discussions about the APIDA community. -> Provide original illustrations/designs to accompany the written works by staff writers for the website and print issues.
