• NOMMO PHOTOGRAPHY INTERN -

DESCRIPTION - Nommo was founded in 1969 as the first on-campus student-run ethnic magazine in the United States. Nommo aims to continue the legacy of operating as a Pan-Afrikan student-serving magazine and newspaper through journalistic writing, creative writing, multimedia journalism, video and photojournalism, and community service. We want to recruit motivated, creative, and passionate students to channel their talents through our collective work. The photography team works on taking original photography for print, web, and social media content, creating and executing planned photoshoots, event photography, and thought-provoking photojournalism.

RESPONSIBILITIES - - Attend weekly meetings and club events on time - Create original photography - Support various Nommo staff in photography to accompany written and other visual works - Contribute at least 4 times per quarter to the Nommo website and/or print works - Collaborate with other staff members on photo projects - Plan and execute photography events in collaboration with the Events Staff -Participate in club meetings, events, and projects
