Nommo was founded in 1969 as the first on-campus student-run ethnic magazine in the United States. Nommo aims to continue the legacy of operating as a Pan-Afrikan student-serving magazine and newspaper through journalistic writing, creative writing, multimedia journalism, video and photojournalism, and community service. We want to recruit motivated, creative, and passionate students to channel their talents through our collective work. The copy team manages the flow of production and manages the deadlines of copy from writers to editors to print. They are responsible for adhering to and creating style guides, managing policy and protocol, and regulating Nommo's content.

RESPONSIBILITIES - - Attend weekly meetings and club events on time - Create policy, protocol, and calendars for Nommo workflow - Support various Nommo staffs in the regulation and production of content - Contribute at least 4 times per quarter to the Nommo website and/or print works - Collaborate with other staff members - Plan and execute events in collaboration with the Events Staff -Participate in club meetings, events and projects
