The social media team ensures that FEM's social media accounts are running smoothly and engaging our audience and readers. Social media team members join a group (or multiple) that is dedicated to running our social media platforms -- Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and our weekly newsletter that we’re reviving (we use MailChimp). The social media team also works on creative projects, such as weekly FEM Finds or FEM focus, to maintain and increase FEM's community outreach and content visibility. Responsibilities include creating graphics for our social media accounts/newsletter, writing captions, contributing to our newsletter, and attending meetings.
NOTICE: You will be expected to attend MANDATORY training sessions at the beginning of Fall Quarter. Training will occur on one of these weekends: Oct. 21 & 22, Oct. 28 & 29, and Nov. 4 & 5 We will provide more specific dates as we get closer to the training dates.
