The Daily Bruin Social Media department serves as an important link between the Daily Bruin's audience and the newsroom. Social Media contributors will work across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit and TikTok to help our audience discover and engage with our content. We work with all content sections to plan social media campaigns for our special issues, create Instagram Stories and more to build the Daily Bruin's social media presence. Through training, contributors will learn the mechanics behind journalistic writing style and gain valuable multimedia production skills. Prior journalism experience is welcome, but not required. We welcome applicants at all levels.
