    Oct. 6, 2025, noon

PRIME is the Daily Bruin’s dedicated narrative journalism section. The section is most known for its quarterly magazines, characterized by its art-infused designs that enhance the storytelling of PRIME reporters. While most of the section’s stories typically take the shape of longform articles, it also dabbles in multimedia experimentation (e.g. graphic novels) that tie back to its central tenet of storytelling through narrative journalism. Each PRIME story typically takes a quarter to produce and no prior experience with journalism is required.
