Graphics Intern

  • Category:
    Graphics Intern
  • Deadline:
    Oct. 3, 2022, noon

The Daily Bruin Graphics section creates visually appealing, informative graphics to convey stories relevant to our campus.

As a graphics intern, you will create graphics that accompany articles from other sections of the newsroom. You will also have the chance to pitch your own original ideas for graphic journalism. Interns will use Adobe Illustrator to create graphics — however, it is not necessary that you know how to use the program, as there will be training on this software. REQUIREMENTS:

Interns are expected to create at least 4 graphics per quarter.

Please note that content production requirements will vary depending on the number of team members and demands of other content sections.

Regardless of your focus, all interns are expected to be available for two 30-minute meetings per week.

Applications are due by Monday, October 3rd, at 12 PM PST. Please contact Alexandria Hunt ([email protected]) and Emma Lee ([email protected]) with any questions or concerns.
