The Design department is responsible for arranging the layout of stories and art for print issues of the Daily Bruin. We also design the layout and user experience of interactive features on dailybruin.com and on Daily Bruin’s social media platforms.

While a good eye for design is helpful, experience is not necessary. Through training, interns will gain a working understanding of Adobe InDesign and print design that can provide valuable experience for the world of print and graphic design, regardless of major. Interns will also learn Figma and how to create engaging designs for digital platforms.
