The Arts & Entertainment section provides in-depth coverage of the cultural landscape and arts scene within UCLA and the greater Los Angeles area. It has three beats: one that focuses on lifestyle, one that focuses on music and fine arts and one that focuses on theater, film and television. The Music | Fine Arts beat covers everything music and fine arts related on the UCLA campus and around LA, including the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, student bands, orchestras, choirs and music culture on campus. The Theatre | Film | Television beat covers film and television news on campus and in the surrounding LA area, including the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, student filmmakers, actors, screenwriters and directors. The Lifestyle beat covers lifestyle topics, including books, food, video games, fashion, social media and any other A&E topics not included under the other beats.
If you have any questions about the A&E section, email Eric Sican at [email protected].
