Bruin Media Group (BMG) is looking for motivated, creative, and detail-oriented interns to help our sales and marketing team grow!

As an intern, you will work closely with the sales team in our advertising department to develop and execute marketing strategies on campus, with a potential opportunity to work on direct sales/marketing projects. Clients range from local Westwood businesses, like Enzo’s and Wescom, to Fortune 500 companies including Live Nation and Universal Studios.

Requirements of this position - Regular and consistent communication through iMessage and Slack - Full attendance in weekly hour-long meetings - The ability to work and collaborate on a team - Posting graphics on personal public social media platforms for client promotion purposes - Recording and analyzing data to increase efficiency, productivity, and return on investment

This internship will begin in mid-February and run through May. There will be opportunities for exceptional interns to apply and interview for full-time sales, marketing, and creative roles upon the program’s conclusion.

Basic qualifications - Able to work 4-6 hours a week including 1 in-person weekly meeting - Comfortable representing brands on personal social media channels (ex. public instagram stories) - Comfortable promoting clients on Bruin Walk by handing out flyers to students

In addition to the opportunity for a full-time position at BMG, during this internship you will be working towards creating the highest marketing value among the intern group. This means that the more work you put in the more “value” you bring to the company and every week or two progress will be evaluated and the top three interns for that week will receive a prize. At the end of the internship, the three interns with the highest produced value will receive prizes of $300- 1st place, $200 - 2nd place, and $100 - 3rd place. These are the only opportunities for monetary compensation, this is an unpaid internship.
