Sales and Marketing Intern

  • Category:
    Sales and Marketing Intern
  • Deadline:
    Oct. 10, 2023, 5 p.m.

Interns will work closely with our advertising team to develop and execute marketing strategies on campus, as well as potential opportunities to develop sales projects. Clients range from local Westwood businesses like Enzo’s pizza and Wescom, to large international companies such as Universal Studios and Princeton Review. Interns must be reliable and responsible and must be able to work well both individually and in groups. The internship will run from mid October to late January, and is also great for anyone interested in sales and account management as it may lead to a permanent position on our sales team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO - Our interns are expected to dedicate around 4-6 hours a week to this internship which includes one weekly meeting. You will work as an on-campus influencer and brand representative through tabling, handing out flyers, and posting online to personal channels such as Instagram stories a few times a week to promote the companies we partner with (this requires having a public instagram account). You will also help develop and carry out creative marketing strategies for a variety of clients and may survey local businesses to learn about local markets.

REQUIREMENTS: Interns will be asked to help promote clients on Instagram through stories. So having a public account set to a business account is required. Posts and other things to promote clients will be expected from every intern.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU - First-hand marketing experience - Learn about clients and marketing in the college setting - Exceptional interns may be offered permanent positions at the agency upon the program’s conclusion - Past interns that we hired onto our staff have gone on to work at Disney, Hulu, Bain, Deloitte, Google, LinkedIn, SalesForce, Barclays, Oracle and more.

In addition to the opportunity for a position in the company, during this internship you will be working towards creating the highest marketing value among the intern group. This means that the more work you put in the more “value” you bring to the company and every week or two progress will be evaluated and the top three interns for that week will receive a prize. At the end of the internship, the three interns with the highest produced value will receive prizes of $300- 1st place, $200 - 2nd place, and $100 - 3rd place.

DEADLINE TO APPLY: Tuesday, October 10th at 5 PM (noon) First Mandatory Meeting: Thursday, October 12th, 6PM Please email [email protected] with any questions.
