Events play a vital role in bringing the Al-Talib community together. As such, they provide the opportunity to have discussions, socialize, celebrate, and build community relations. Al-Talib's event planning committee members will work with the Events Head to create various meaningful social, outreach, informative events throughout the year that will help to promote Al-Talib as a publication while also helping the publication to stay connected with the Muslim community at UCLA. Al-Talib Events Committee members are expected to attend weekly All-Staff meetings to brainstorm and plan out tasks. Some of the annual events the Events committee members will help plan include the annual print issue release party, the #MuslimsofUCLA exhibit, and more!
