This position is an intensive senior staff position -- second in command to the editor-in-chief, alongside the web manager. Attention to detail and responsible communication is a necessity. Juniors and seniors preferred. This is a good position for transfer students interested in taking on an advanced leadership position! The print manager is responsible for overseeing FEM's quarterly print issue process. This position requires management of the FEM print issue schedule, communication with senior staff, editors, social media teams, designers, and writers. Interviews will take place during week 2. Applicants will be notified about interviews at the beginning of week 2.
1. Oversee the print issue schedule each quarter -- make sure we meet deadlines for writing, editing, designing, and publishing due dates
2. Maintain communication with staff members
3. Organize print issue meetings
4. Attend weekly to biweekly senior staff meetings
5. Communicate regularly with the editor-in-chief about issues, progress, ideas, etc.
5. Regular communication with social media manager for promoting upcoming print issue
6. Cooperation with FEM's member policy
