The Arts & Entertainment contributor position requires dedication and reporting on short notice, often with unpredictable hours. Are you able to balance this position with school and other commitments? What other clubs/organizations do you anticipate being a part of this year?

In our "Second Take" series, A&E publishes opinionated pieces about entertainment news and happenings outside of UCLA. The often controversial series has covered topics ranging from the casting choices of the live action “Aladdin" film to Kesha's sober return to music. Please write a sample “Second Take" arguing your point of view on a recent trend or topic in the arts and entertainment world.
Commitment and writing skills aren’t the only things we’re looking for: we want our writers to be well-versed in the A&E world.
