Photography is a powerful tool that can be used to capture the essence of a moment. Photos have the power of uplifting, raising awareness, informing, etc. Al-Talib photographers embark on a journey of telling stories about/for the community through their camera lens. Al-Talib photographers will be assisting writers with the visuals of their articles as well as create various photo series throughout the school year. In addition to producing content, photographers are expected to attend weekly design and media staff meetings that provides a creative environment where editors will assist photographers in the creative photo series process, weekly office hours where that will give everyone on staff to collaborate, and occasional all staff meetings where all sections will come together to work on upcoming/ongoing projects. New members MUST attend Student Media training, location and time TBA.
