Events play a vital role in bringing the community together. Events provide the opportunity to have discussions, socialize, celebrate, and build community relations. Al-Talib's event planning committee members will work with the Events Coordinator to create various meaningful social, outreach, informative events that will help to promote Al-Talib as a publication while also helping the publication to stay connected with the community. Al-Talib Event Planning Committee members are expected to attend weekly Event Committee meetings to brainstorm and carry out tasks, weekly office hours where that will give everyone on staff to collaborate, and occasional all staff meetings where all sections will come together to work on upcoming/ongoing projects. New members MUST attend Student Media training, time and location TBA.
