We are a small team looking to expand in staff numbers this winter. Make new friends in a team-based environment, where your opinions are valued as we work to increase our readership and create quality content. Our mission is to write for and about API communities both on and off campus. Join the first student-run API magazine in the nation! No experience necessary.
The deadline to apply is January 21, 2016 at 11 p.m. There will be specific training on two consecutive weekends: 1/24 and 1/31 from 10:30am-2pm in Humanities A32. Please email Karin Chan at [email protected] with any questions, concerns or if you need a deadline extension.
Attach relevant samples for the position you are applying for. For example, if you only want to apply as a writer, then only attach writing samples below. You do not need to attach samples for more than one medium, but you are welcome to showcase your skills, for example, if you're into both design and photography.
WRITING SAMPLES: Include 1-2 writing samples. If they are academic papers, include only the first and last page. You may also attach something you’d write for Pacific Ties.
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO SAMPLES: Include 10-15 photography samples. Or Include 1-2 video projects you had a role in. Please use a ZIP folder to send multiple files. Or attach a word doc with a Google Drive or Dropbox link included.
ART AND DESIGN SAMPLES: Include 3-5 samples of illustration or graphic design. Please use a ZIP folder to send multiple files. Or attach a word doc with a Google Drive or Dropbox link included.
