Students that work for Daily Bruin Advertising get real business experience in sales and client management in a real life setting. Sales reps sell advertising solutions to local, regional and national customers. These solutions are in the form of advertising among a number of platforms. They include, but are not limited to print, online, outdoor and mobile advertising.
Interns will do various projects serving as campus reps for our clients, and learn all the skills necessary to become a successful sales rep. Our sales reps should display some of the best communications skills and strongest work ethic among any students on campus. Reps should be engaged on and comfortable with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. You will be asked to take on the role of an "influencer" by posting on social media sites on behalf of our clients.
The internship will run from mid October- January 2017. Interns who demonstrate strong commitment and potential will be given job offers at the completion of their internship.
