This application is to apply for the copy/writing staff of the BruinLife yearbook.
The BruinLife writing staff is involved in choosing the various topics for articles to be printed in the yearbook, but also various writing projects in the UCLA BruinLife Commencement Magazine, website, etc.
As a writer, you are responsible for quarterly assignments, attending all staff meetings and writing staff meetings. 3 minimum office hours are required per week where you come into the BruinLife offices (you choose the hours) to work on assignments or office projects.
BruinLife also hosts various social events to get you acquainted with the entire staff.

If you were chosen to be part of the copy/writing staff, what would you bring to the table? Why are you interested in joining the BruinLife yearbook staff?
Looking at past yearbooks (available in 118 KH or YRL), what do you like about the writing and/or topics? What could be better?
Suggest two potential stories the BruinLife would cover, avoiding topics and angles we've already written in recent years.
With people now a days being more interested in photos, why is it important to still have copy/writing in the yearbook?
Describe your strengths and weaknesses as a writer.
Are you involved or plan to be involved in any Extracurricular activities?
